The United Way of the Ouachitas offers each of the public schools, ASMSA, and National Park College a check to support students in need during the school year. The United Way of the Ouachitas will serve as the administrator of this program.
The money is earmarked to assist ALL students in need in the districts. This funding is unique because it is to be used at the counselor's discretion, not a 'by application' or any certain criteria.
