Our region is facing an unprecedented challenge with communities and economies everywhere affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic.The United Way of the Ouachitas is working to combat the COVID-19 pandemic bringing governments, organizations from across industries and sectors and individuals together to help respond to this global outbreak. The outpouring of solidarity and support sparked by this shared challenge has been phenomenal.Everyone can now support directly the response coordinated by the United Way of the Ouachitas by donating to the COVID-19 Relief Fund.

 

 


 

2-1-1 is a free telephone service that connects individuals in need to important community services in the state of Arkansas. 2-1-1 is the direct link between people who need and people who can give help. The 2-1-1 call center now serves all of Arkansas.

HAVE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW BEEN AFFECTED BY COVID-19?

Individuals and families who have been affected by COVID-19 may now apply for direct relief through the United Way of the Ouachitas’ COVID-19 online application. Applicants may apply for relief in a variety of areas such as food, medical, mortgage/rental assistance, utilities, etc. (Assistance is limited at this time. Large food boxes are avaliable for those in need.)

To apply, visit the COVID-19 Online Application. Applicants are required to provide proof of identification such as a driver’s license, and proof of application for unemployment benefits or furlough letter from their employer.

United Way of the Ouachitas provides assistance to our partner agencies within the 7 county region (Clark, Garland, Hot Springs, Montgomery, Pike, Polk, & Saline Counties) so that they may continue to enhance the programs that are avaliable within our region. Because of this, we have created a comprehensive website with the help of the OAYC to provide helpful resources including; food, health, transportation, utility bills, and so much more. Charity Tracker is an online case management system that allows local non-profits, churches, school counselors, government agencies, etc. to keep records of assistance needed or given to an individual requesting assistance.
