Individuals and families who have been affected by COVID-19 may now apply for direct relief through the United Way of the Ouachitas’ COVID-19 online application. Applicants may apply for relief in a variety of areas such as food, medical, mortgage/rental assistance, utilities, etc. (Assistance is limited at this time. Large food boxes are avaliable for those in need.)
To apply, visit the COVID-19 Online Application. Applicants are required to provide proof of identification such as a driver’s license, and proof of application for unemployment benefits or furlough letter from their employer.
United Way of the Ouachitas provides assistance to our partner agencies within the 7 county region (Clark, Garland, Hot Springs, Montgomery, Pike, Polk, & Saline Counties) so that they may continue to enhance the programs that are avaliable within our region. Because of this, we have created a comprehensive website with the help of the OAYC to provide helpful resources including; food, health, transportation, utility bills, and so much more. Our community needs volunteer drivers to assist in responding to the COVID-19 crisis by delivering food, water and/or required medications to the elderly, disabled, and other high-risk individuals who may not recover from a COVID-19 diagnosis.
