“Getting Hands-on with the Legislature”

Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families serves as a voice for children in the Arkansas State legislature and Kerri Sernel is going to help the non-profit leaders of the Hot Springs region join the chorus! Come learn about the critical issues at the top of this year’s legislative agenda and what you can do to help your elected officials take meaningful action.

Featured Presenter: Kerri Sernel, Outreach Director Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families

A native of Memphis, Kerri Sernel has degrees from University of Alabama (BA Psychology) and University of North Carolina (MSW). She was director of development and marketing for Just Communities of Arkansas before joining AACF in 2014. She works with advocates and partners to improve the lives of children and  low-income families through effective public policy.
